I was raised up in Northern Virginia State. The last place before we moved South was at Woodbridge, in a place called "Dale City". We lived there from 1966 to 1972. I even did a short one time stint on the local TV station there. The last School I attended there was "Garfield High School of Woodbridge Virginia", September to November of '72. At this time, there was a new Garfield High School being constructed.

In 1972 we moved to "Floyd County Virginia". Then in 1976 we moved to the "Town of Christiansburg" in "Montgomery County, Virginia", which is a County next door neighbor to Floyd. ("Floyd County High School" was the last High School I attended.) At later times we lived outside the Town limits within "Montgomery County", including myself. At short intervals I was in "Shawsville" or "Blacksburg" Region (but not the Town).

I have had slightly a high profile in Montgomery County Of Virginia since the 1970's... virtually everybody either knows me, or knows of me. I have been around Christiansburg since 1974, but begun to know the folks here in 1975. I am very well known and respected (but of course, like anyone else in America, I have my detractors! As referenced on the METIER page, my Family operated 2 businesses here in Christiansburg... "Hodges Amoco Service Station" (1975-1985) and "Hodges Tire & Muffler, Inc." (1985-2000)... so pretty much of my family is known and respected and liked over here. I have lived hanging out on the streets for years (but that is history now), always making new friends and associating with them, "loving people and seeing the beauty in them", caring, "hearing the joys and cries of others" and "sharing their laughter and pain", peace and "undivided love in whole and completeness"... ratiocinative harmony!!! Thank God for all that. Hopefully, this  business of me having a high profile over here is fading away now. It's been nice for a long time, and I have certainly had my enjoying times out of it!
